This 530 x 325mm perforated Teflon baking tray is designed for bakeries, cafés and commercial kitchens that want better airflow around baked products during cooking.
The perforated base allows hot air to circulate more freely around the underside of food, which can help achieve a drier, crisper finish on products such as bread rolls, pastries and other baked goods. The Teflon non-stick surface also helps improve food release and makes the tray easier to clean after use.
The perforations allow heated air to reach more of the food surface instead of only heating from the top and sides. This can be particularly useful for bakery products where a crisper base or more even airflow is desirable.
Compared with a solid tray, a perforated tray may be a better choice for products that do not release excessive liquid or batter during baking.
The smooth PTFE non-stick surface helps sticky or delicate baked goods release more easily and creates a barrier between the food and underlying metal surface.
This can help reduce the need for baking paper or excessive greasing, while also making cleanup quicker between batches. To protect the coating, avoid metal utensils and abrasive cleaning pads.
